EXPERIENCE A TASTE OF THE WEST END.
Katie Cox Dance Studio runs regular Dance and Musical Theatre Workshops. Students are offered a variety of Masterclasses taken by invited Guest Teachers, such as current West End performers and/or leading dance professionals and dance teachers (including those currently teaching at dance colleges and in professional companies). Students may bring along their friends - they do not have to be enrolled at KCDS.
Summer masterclass
I am delighted to finally announce the details of our 6-week Intensive Summer Programme! We are excited to be bringing you two new classes to trial - Rambert Grades (Contemporary) and Commercial as well as Jazz Tech, Body Con, Stretch and Acro!
RAMBERT offer qualifications in contemporary dance. At the heart of Rambert is passion for the artform, creativity, technical training & individual performance style - this syllabus is AMAZING and I'm delighted to be able to offer this at KCDS!
Our Commercial Classes will be taken by professional dancer Abbie Oseman. Abbie is an ex-student of mine and has just graduated from The Wilkes Academy, an outstanding college for training in Professional dance and Musical Theatre. We are really excited to be welcoming her back!
In addition to this, we will also be offering two free Choreography Masterclasses to all those who sign up for our Summer Intensive. They will focus on top tips for choreography and explain how to create and plan your routines for our September competition.
As always these Summer Days are not just for students at KCDS. You are more than welcome to invite friends and family along too.
