OUR CLASSES

WHETHER IT'S FOR FUN, OR IN READINESS FOR FULL TIME DANCE TRAINING, WE HAVE LOTS OF CLASSES ON OFFER FOR EVERYONE!

Our Mission:

To deliver the highest quality of teaching across all dance disciplines.

Our Vision:

To inspire and nurture students, helping them develop the confidence to grow and become independent, passionate dancers.

Our Aim:

To create a supportive and caring environment where students can flourish and reach their full potential.

Our Approach:

Our approach is evident in our outstanding exam results and success in the professional dance industry. While many students start because they simply enjoy dancing or moving to music, as they progress, some choose to pursue a career in dance. KCDS provides a nurturing space for both recreational and aspiring professional dancers.

At KCDS, students are grouped by age into five branches: Pre-School, Minis, Juniors, Mids, and Seniors. Each age group offers a diverse range of classes, giving students the opportunity to experience a variety of dance styles from an early age.

Our classes focus on developing strong technique while encouraging each student to reach their personal best, all within a supportive and nurturing environment where young dancers can thrive and embrace the art of dance. Students have the opportunity to be examined by the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) for Ballet and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) for Modern and Tap.

Held in our purpose-built, fully equipped dance studios in Purley, with mirrors and barres, KCDS offers a truly professional space for training.

While age ranges are provided as a guide, students may move into classes outside of their designated age group when skill level takes precedence, at the discretion of the Studio Director.
