**Uniform orders can take 2 to 3 weeks or even longer during busy periods, although we always endeavour for it to take less time. Therefore please order your uniform in plenty of time if you need to have it for a specific date.**
 **Please don't forget that all our lycra uniform items must be carefully hand-washed in cool water and line dried. Please do not soak or use a washing machine otherwise it may effect the quality and condition of the logo.**

Ballet shoes, tights, socks and accessories can be purchased from specialist dancewear shops such as Fame of Surrey and Dancing Boutique in Tunbridge Wells.  (N.B.  Pointe shoes must be professionally fitted).

KCDS EXAM GUIDE

At Katie Cox Dance Studio, we follow the RAD and ISTD syllabi, which offer various optional assessments and exams at each level. These milestones provide motivation for students and the chance to progress as they move through the grades. To ensure students are well-prepared for their exams, it’s important that they receive adequate time to develop the necessary technical and artistic skills for each level. Students must attend classes twice a week for at least half a term leading up to their exam. For those working towards Grade 4 and above, twice-weekly attendance is required ongoing.

Students who pass or achieve higher in Grades 6, 7, 8, Intermediate, or Advanced Foundation can use their exam results to gain points when applying for relevant university courses or higher education in the UK.

Currently, we offer classes up to RAD Advanced One Ballet, ISTD Advanced Two Tap, and ISTD Advanced One Modern.
