Welcome to KCDS! I founded the school in 2010 with the aim of creating a modern, vibrant performing arts school, committed to inspiring young performers, fostering new talent and engaging our pupils in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

At KCDS we are also passionate about supporting those with additional needs. Our teachers have experience working with children with SEN in dance classes and educational settings.

My team of professional and fully qualified teachers provide exceptional training, and our approach is reflected in our excellent examination results, with KCDS students consistently attaining outstanding grades in their dance exams.

Our new Performance Company has amassed a number of medals at festivals, with students qualifying for the AED Regionals. In addition to our annual show, students have danced at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Her Majesty's and more recently, Disneyland Paris.

Pupils have won roles in Matilda, The Lion King, School of Rock and Tina the Musical and performed with the London Children's Ballet, EYB and National Youth Theatre. They have also gained places at The BRIT School, London Studio Centre, Wilkes Academy and Associate programmes, including Tap Attack, Tring and the Royal Ballet School.

BOOK A TWO WEEK TASTER

We would love to welcome your child into the KCDS family and help them on their creative journey. We encourage all new starters to attend a two week taster to enable them to become more settled and get a better feel for the class. Our next intake of students will be September 2024. KCDS ALUMNI
